Gerlindo Bordin won the gold medal in the marathon at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul with the Mythos 280 GB and helped to developed the runner. The history of the shoe is also taken up in the design of the new edition. The Olympic Games winner's symbol, the laurel wreath, is emblazoned on the tongue, with the Italian flag below. The metallic look is characterized primarily by the silver upper in a chain pattern. The heel, tongue and midsole are accented with red elements.
